In short: One for the bucket list
In full: Well although things didn't go according to plan (too hard underfoot/too hot) I still had a FANTASTIC day out. Organisation was some of the best I have seen - water stops every couple of miles [well-manned), loads of signage, runners/walkers/cyclists and canix. Brilliant day for all. Well done Wilts Wildlife. Definitely one for your bucket list people...

In short: brilliant
In full: Great route and a great day. Like already mentioned very low key and all the better for it. Nice mix of walkers and runners. Thanks to all the marshals (some of who must have had a long day) esp at mile 23 who took care of me!

In short: Great day out
In full: Brilliant value as mentioned before. Think the common start wouldn't be muddy in a 'normal' year. A bit lumpy but my son completed this as his first ever 10k so not that bad. Local slate momento's a lovely touch. Wonderful marshalls that cheered everyone along. Nearly didn't go as it was snowing at home when I got up. So glad I did. A sell-out this year and I think it'll be one that you have to book early to get in next year once word gets out!!

In short: oh my god!
In full: my first running of the grizzly and I've heard from many that it was the hardest to date. Sleet and a howling easterly gale made it especially tough - can't believe I struggled so much after 12weeks + of training. The most memorable marshals I have ever encountered helped pull me/us along with jelly babies and even flapjacks cakes and biscuits. Definitely one for the 'bucket list'. THANK YOU AVR

In short: brilliant
In full: A very well-supported low-key race that ticked all the boxes for me. Thought a run along the prom on a lovely sunny day (being fairly near the front)might cause a few problems; but most of the pedestrians, cyclists and even dogs were well behaved. A large number even took the time to cheers us on (from their benches and cafes too). More portaloos than I've seen at some much larger events. Smiling and vocal marshalls. And the sun shone. Pleased to have travelled the extra miles to take part in this rather than the extortionally priced Bath Half

In short: Glorious
In full: I know its unseasonally mild but what a great little race. Mud (tho not as much as you might expect in Feb), climbs, roots, rocks and a surprising amount of (family). great location and know real problems. One to mark on your calenders guys
