In short: Well organised and managed Charity Half In full: Ample facilities and parking makes a good start for this run. The course has several ups in the first 3 miles, down for one, then 9 miles of undulations. Four water stations, all with bottled water, is fantastic, and one just before halfway had Gu gels also. All in all, a very good event, and whilst a PB may be a struggle here, it's a good course that I intend to do again. Date of review: May 12, 2013

In short: This small half just gets better each year! In full: A completely unexpected PB aside (albeit by 13 seconds), this event continues to shows the others how it should be done. Good race hq, friendly organisers, great value entry, which covers a t-shirt and post run sandwich. Looking forward to a 4th year at Droitwich in 2014! Date of review: March 3, 2013

In short: Another great Stagger In full: Another superbly organised Stagger. Easy parking nearby, large meeting/changing area with ample facilities. Marshalls were superb throughout, holding up traffic, and shouting encouragement. Course was a very muddy for long stretches several times, slowing things down a lot, but at least there was no snow this year! Date of review: February 3, 2013

In short: A fast course, well organised and marshalled, with a bargain entry fee! In full: My second Cricklade Half, 4 years after my first try. I won't leave such a long gap next time! Very well organised, with various places to park for free (albeit with a 10-15 min walk to the hq). HQ had ample loos, bag storage, massage benches, and a coffee shop. 5 min walk back to the race start, for a fast, flat course, on a perfect running day. Marshalls were all supportive, 4 water stations, and a good atmosphere. Will be back in 2013, and aiming for a PB! Date of review: October 9, 2012

In short: Good first time event In full: Really enjoyed this run, despite the persistent rain falling relentlessly throughout! Felt sorry for the marshalls being stuck there, but most were supportive of the 366 that completed the race. Facilities were all good, but I was very much deceived by the race letter that said parking was a 5 minute walk from the registration. It was actually 20+ minutes away, meaning my being late already, turned into a mad panic to get to the start line just as everyone was setting off! Pre-race stretching is over-rated anyway! Other than that, it was a lovely rural course. Forgot my jelly babies in my haste, so the energy gels on offer at 7 miles were an unexpected pleasure, followed by other offerings if wanted. No need for a medal and t-shirt, I believe just one will suffice, but thanks all the same. Would be happy to come again next year, but will leave home sooner! Date of review: September 27, 2012

In short: Great first running of this rural 10 miler In full: Ten mile road races are something I feel we're very lacking in, so was very happy to try this inaugural event in Hereford. There's ample on site parking, adequate facilities, and a nice predominently rural course of undulating country lanes. The marshalls were all supportive, as was the cyclist who kept passing us by, and two well manned water stations to hydrated. The entry fee was good enough value that I was not bothered by the lack of a pointless cheap momento at the end. Hopefully Wye Valley will make this an annual event, and it can build upon the near 100 that completed it this year. Date of review: September 10, 2012

In short: Squelchy Squelchy! In full: Great organisation once again, ample parking and facilities. The course was pretty muddy, which sapped the legs of all strength early on, making it very heavy going, but great strength training! The course was 13 miles of peaceful woodland, passing jut a few other hikers and dogwalkers. Sadly, most of the time was spent looking down to see where it was safe to put your feet, rather than admiring the views! With the great value entry fee, and the beautiful location/course, it's just a shame that more people don't take advantage and participate in this magnificent run. Date of review: July 9, 2012

In short: Great local event, lovely rural route. In full: First time here. Arrived later than expected due to M54 problems, which led to a struggle finding a parking space. That aside, it was a perfect day and run. A lovely rural route primarily consisting of mildly undulating country lanes and farm tracks, with a little offroad intermingled. Water stations every 2 miles, with bottled water at every other stop, which is always appreciated over cups! Great supportive marshalls, good value entry, and the oranges at the end were a pleasant first! A well recommended alternative to larger, costly road races. Date of review: July 1, 2012

In short: Very fast course, with pleasant scenery and support In full: Enjoyed my first time here, and smashed my PB, which always makes for fond memories! Course is very flat, with just a few short bumps with a couple of miles to go. Ample parking at the hq, and good organisation throughout. Bottled water was gratefully received compared to the usual plastic cups. Scenery was a mixture of strong smelling fields of rape, open views, and small villages, with some good support scattered around. Will definately plan this one in for 2013! In short: A good training run for the Spring Mara's In full: First time here, and so was very lucky that the conditions were ideal. 20 min walk to the start was a nuisance, especially after the walk from the second car park to the HQ, but all organisation otherwise was fine. Majority of entrants were club runners in groups, using it as a training run, which is obviously why the run is held in March, but there was a very friendly atmosphere throughout. Bags were transported to the finish for us (different location to the start), and a coach took finishers to the HQ, where cakes/rolls and drinks were available very cheaply. Route itself was not inspring, but interesting enough, and the laps were pleasant enough to not get annoyed with them. Two minor hills on the laps, but neither were too long or steep. Would run again, but only if in training. Date of review: March 26, 2012
