In short: this is a must
In full: wow what a race, we got there sunday and it was high winds and rain , but soon to see the clear skies opened, parking was very muddy so 4x4 is a good idea, the bogs of doom were freezing and were like soup, they dont come till about 6 miles in , the hils are mental more like a crawl not a climb, sand dunes, its all there, busy bottle necks at places and a bit of queing for bogs but if you want a free run go upthe front great organization and a very good goodie bag , medal and tshirt and other bits, great getting out the carpark very organized, the marshalls tell a few white lies how far left but its all in the day i suppose, bring on next year.
one slight moan the bacon and sausage rolls were disgusting sorry guys !

In short: tough , hilly but one to do and a great medal
In full: great views, great marshalling too, the water stations were great, the hills were very tough and i dont think there is a chance of a pb unless your pb is 1h50, that was one of the toughest halfs i have ever done, just glad it wasnt sunny, you must do this race its 85% off road, loads of little styes and gates.
nice race hq which was a warm rugby club, bananas and drinks after see you there again

In short: great course and scenery and good medal
In full: this was my first time at this race and it was a shame as the rain ruined the grass for spectators and us really it was a bog mud everywhere, and the cars were in a field so yes my car was stuck but a huge thanks to the marshalls pushing all the cars out.
the course was great roads , private roads and grass, and the hills were fun up and down really and back to flat , nice medal, didnt have much in the goodybag just a sweatband and a leaflet, nevermind baggage point was good and quick, if the weather dryer an overall great day out , i got 1h49min, it could of been better but as the roads were narrow it was still congested up to 3 miles so advice for a pb get to the front, thanks to the marshalls aswell
