In short: Loved it!! converted trail runner.
In full: Really enjoyed this race, scenery was fantastic.
Tough hills and footing in parts was a bit suspect, but all made for a really enjoyable race.
Much better than an on road half, i have been converted!

In short: Well done for getting it on!!
In full: The steak pie after was a right treat!!!
Well worth the drive up for this race.
Went ahead despite the weather so well done for getting started.
Course was fairly flat but the bitterly cold wind at the end was harsh!
Will definitely do this again.

In short: Needs chip timing and loud speaker at start
In full: Could'nt hear a word the announcer was saying at the start. Did'nt know where the start line was to start my watch, definately needs chip timing next year. I think the medals were won on one of the fairground stalls. Course a bit boring as well to be honest. Not one for me again.

In short: Breath-taking scenery, breath-taking hill!!
In full: What a place to do a half marathon. Not very often do you get chance to run with such scenery all around you.
Organisation was superb, marshalls were great, the downhill part, along the lake and eventually to the finish is out of this world.
However beware, there is an almighty hill to over come about 6 miles in, and wow it hurt!!

PB out of the window when i saw that.

I will definately be doing this again next year, loved it!

One very minor thing though, could you start it a tad earluer next year? i missed seeing my team the toon destroy Liverpool!!

In short: The organisers should be proud!
In full: My first marathon, and afterwards i said it would be my only one!! however 24 hours later already thinking about doing another one. If they are as well organised as this with as much support on the course than yesterdays then im game for another!!!
If you choose Chester as your first one then you have made the right choice, from the minute i enetered to the minute i came in at the end, the event was organised like clockwork, really well done to every one involved you should be proud.

In short: Best 10k on the calender? i'd say so!!
In full: This was the first race i ever did this time last year, so was a must again this year as i enjoyed it so much last time.
I wanted to ensure that i hadnt enjoyed it so much last year because it was my first race, joy of finishing etc
However after competeing in 8 other 10k races since, i can catergorically say that this is the best 10k on the calender!
Superb views, brilliant organisation, lovely course, hill is a challenge but once done a great feeling, just a great race.
Ive got to mention the absolute superb stewards, the friendliest bunch i have met on my runs! just keep you going.

Brilliant, look forward to the same race next year, thanks!
