In short: nice route plenty of water and lucazade
In full: reading all these reviews i wonder what race these people run- i arrved early ,didnt leave any bags (because i read of prevoius years horrors) walked to the start -squeezed passed the toilet queues ,had a free lucazade and water got very near the front listened to the old boy on the mike !!! and started 30 seconds after the elite runners (and dragon) first water stop very soon and a very large one in blackfriers tunnel i had lucazade and water route beautiful well marshalled BUT lots of slow walkers (not the organisers fault is it!!) lots of music and again more water about the 8-9 k mark crossed the line looked at my stop watch (WHO NEEDS A CHIP) now should of been given my medal NOW but walked on turned right goy my medal lucazade and water walked on to the tube and home PEOPLE SEEM TO EXPECT TOO MUCH EG TOILETS PB ETC - 30000 PEOPLE WERE THEY TODAY
I AGREE IT WAS A LITTLE TOO OVER PRICED BUT WITH THE VENUE CLOSING ROADS POLICE ETC ILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR
