In short: one run , one love .
In full: my 5th and my most enjoyable london marathon although not my quickest . for the first time i took time to soak up the atmosphere and enjoyed every minute of the run , poeple shouted my name , they encouraged me , i touched the hands of kids desperate to touch the passing runners hands and i realised that no matter of race , colour or religon everyone come together ! perhaps the solution to peace is running ? thanks to all the marshals and helpers for making thia race possible . will i be back again .... you bet .

In short: loved it ... hated it..
In full: having done this in 2006 i knew what i had let myself in for , only missed 2007 due to injury . again i loved every minute of it the hills ... the bog .. the great feeling of everyone in it together , but the bit i hated ... the parking ! in 2006 it was very well organised in longmoor camp , griggs green was a free for all exit after the race in fact i think i ran the race quicker than i got out off the car park !!! unless this is changed next year i will not be returning to hell...

In short: great race but a early start
In full: a very well organised race . a lot of club runners setting a good pace helped me get my fastest 10k this year . the downside was the early start as i travelled a fair distance to get there but after last years traffic problems it was understandable , will be back again next year .

In short: mad mad mad
In full: you must be mad to do this race and as it was my 3rd munro that makes me mad mad mad ! once again a well organised event , great encouragement from the marshalls and better still from fellow runners . no amount of training can prepare you for this race but what a feeling when you cross the finshing line , a great sense of achievement . my head told me throughout the race never again .my legs told me this morning never again.. somehow i just know i will be back year for munro number 4 !!! well done rob + team.

In short: great race but a tough one !!
In full: the hills are killers but a well organised and well marshalled race with a good mix of runners . this race shows you the best of mother nature , the scenery is fantastic and loved going in the fields past the sheep/cows and running along the river with the swans and most of all passed some lovely birdson the way ( not the feathered ones ! ) . will be back again next year .

In short: not what i had hoped for !
In full: three waves of starts and a flat course , all the makings of a pb ! no way some runners in the first red start should not have been there as they were joggers and should have started in another wave , due to the congested start there was no way past and i didnt get into my pace till way past the 4k point ! this is another unorganised race like the british london 10k , however i must say a big thank you to all the marshalls and helpers who braved the rain.
