In short: Well organised + good mix of runners = good race.
In full: First time at Hook & I can say even before I finished the run (6) that I will be back next year, maybe even do the 10 mile run. Thought it was well organised, good course & well planned out - even for the non-runners. Thought the showers at the local community centre was a great shout too.

In short: Beat my PB by 43 secs - worth all that training. Glad the rain held off. Hopefully the road will be finished by the 3rd race. Great way to spend a Wednesday night.
