In short: A summer fete type atmosphere with homemade cake stall etc. The run took us past a few nice views but mainly along forest paths it is amazing there was so little shade . Well done the vast army of friendly volunteers.

In short:
In full: Rare to find a 1/2 marathon on a mid week evening but ideal for anyone planning a short break in the province. (like us). The course is described as undulating which is accurate (very few flat stretches) I did well for first 10 miles but testing hills in last third got me in the end. But still had a great night followed by brill few days touring Ards penisular

In short: Needs attention
In full: The stewards were poor hence leaders (followed by rest of field )went wrong way at Mewsbrooks so markers became pointless. Did PB but did we do 10k? Will try again next year as course should have been excellent
