In short: great we race In full: i would say this was more like a trail race than a road race but all the better for it. it was good to run for a change without the howling wind in your face but saying that the route was sheltered anyway. bottle of water, banana, mars bar, cap, mug, and a few other bits and bobs all for £6 what more could you ask for. 2008 race not 2007 Date of review: May 28, 2008

In short: great to have the wind the second half In full: this is my favourite half marathon for a number of reasons. since 1992 i have missed only a couple of them.for me it is a good way to finish the year alright it is undulating and the second half can be tough if the wind is against you(the wind was at your back this time a rarity) but it is a half well worth doing Date of review: January 25, 2008

In short: better than london? In full: this was my first loch ness marathon an it certainly wont be the last. what a great idea it was to have a marathon in one of the most scenic parts of scotland. i done the edinburgh marathon earlier in the year but loch ness has to be the better of the two.from the enthusiasm of the support along the route, the organization, goody bag(edinburgh take note) and the scenery it made it an enjoyable day Date of review: October 8, 2007
