In short: Enjoyed it, a few short hills but flat, Good support around the race, Well done to the Cheerleaders outsid RM at Brightside
In full: Good race, good suuport, plenty of drinks,Fine with cups, would never drink a full bottle, Good access and parking.
Just need to be aware of the run around the stadium at the finnish.Good value, considering the road closures and the cost of the Great North/Yorks 10K events.Plenty of toliets around the stadiumn, all maked on the map.

In short: Run for the Flat Pb potential, windy but no snow, No atmosphere
In full: Good points- PB potential, nice for family picnic afterwards, subject to snow..However race gets very spreadout, little support, very few split signs & in miles! although did see a 5K and thought saw 10K but not at finnish . Biggest moan today is lack of clear sign where the finnish was, hidden behind people and focus was on joining time queue

In short: Enjoyed it, good support/marshalling, nice variety
In full: Once found the car park, nice Policeman assisted. Good town centre race, good support, marshalling, in aid of good cause, good weather, good t/shirt. Evene the hills were fine, compared to Great Yorks Run, far better event. Only downside was volume of people at start, but was soon into the grove...Well Done

In short: Beautiful setting, challenging course, good waether - worst finnsh ever
In full: Read comments from last yr about the start, in a park this big, Why get such a narrow start BUT NEVER NOT RUN OVER A FINNISH LINE -Finnished in 50 mins had to join the line to cross the finnish line,in a single file, one poor wowman was writing number down - no idea why timing had totally gone, then had to find water and even further the t/shirt.
Must improve next year

In short: Challenging course but enjoyable and for a good cause
In full: Good trail race but tough, overtaking difficult at between 2-3km,seemed to be some confusion where the start was. Views were good round the Castle.Route mixture of paths and around recently harvest fields. Pity the Brass band stopped before at around the 50 minute mark.

In short: Good to do a big race, well organised - lacked atmosphere
In full: First massed event, started worked excellently, got a year PB and for Sheffield relatively flat course but found last 400m challenging. Good to see the top athletes inaction. Plenty of toilets at start, not a great deal of atmosphere on the course.
Good to do one large event a year but expensive compared to club events.

Thought the Kids race at the original price £12.00 was poor value, which was reduced by 50%, lack of interest maybe? Goody bags for them were terrible, especially since his father does not drink tea! Some fruit or even small packet of sweets would have been more appropriate.
