In short: Amazing atmosphere, brilliant organisation, what an experience!
In full: This was my 7th marathon but my first London. I had quite a bad and painful run missing my hoped for time by 12 minutes but the miles still flew by thanks to the huge support from the crowd. I managed to get in this year with a Good For Age place having been rejected twice through the ballot, and it was well worth the wait. I will definitely return next year, but to just take in the sights and sounds and save any pb attempts for a quieter race. Was very impressed with the organisation from start to finish, and really can't fault any part of it! Enjoyed the Expo too!
