In short: Brilliant!!!
In full: Did this one last year and it was good. This year it was great. Puddles were bigger and deeper, great atmosphere only moan would have preferred a t shirt instead of a medal.

In short: Exelent race, well organised and my favorite 1/2 marathon
In full: I would not totally agree with others saying this was a flat course. That being said I managed to knock 12 minutes off my PB. There was plenty of drinks stations, superb crowd support, great marshalling overall a race worth doing and I will definately be back next year.

In short: Worth the 350 mile trip exelent organisation
In full: I had a great day. Having turned up an hour before the start it took me 11 minutes to cross the line. Yes there were people walking after a mile but were easy enough to pass. great atmosphere from crowds and other runners. Plenty of water. I'de like to remind the others who moaned remember why you turned up and with 50,000 other runners its going to be a bit cramped! My heart goes out to the families of the four that died.

In short: Much to hot but well organised
In full: As has already been said much too hot to run that time of day. I have done a fair few races and I was struggling at 2 miles. I have never walked before in a run but this time I did. Scenery exelent although very little shade. Great atmosphere especially from other runners and great marshalls. Nice horse brass. I would only do this one again if the start time changes.

In short: Well organised and enjoyable
In full: I feel there has been alot of unecessary moaning about this race. It was well organised, I was in the first wave, got lined up around 20 minutes from the start so fairly close to the front. No major problems with slow runners, achieved a PB and extremely well organised finished with huge signs for medal/t shirt collection. Nice touch to have the shower half way round. Could have been few more signs for car parking but overall well organised.

In short: Enjoyable, good atmosphere and got a PB
In full: After reading alot of other reviews not very positive however, I got to the start on time, got in the correct time band and managed to start alright no problems. There were plenty of water stations and plenty to go round. Scenery was a bit dull in places but the crowd made up for it. Due to the amount of people running I thought the whole thing was pretty well organised and I would do it again although the finish was a bit hectic and was difficult trying to meet up with supporters after, it was not a major problem.

In short: very hard but worth the effort
In full: A narrow track along the canal made for some careful running. Exelent organisation and well marshalled considering the freezing weather. plenty of water stops, good atmosphere and very hard steep hills. Would definately do it again.

In short: well organised
In full: Plently of parking space available with toilets close by which had no queues. tannoy announcements and time bands at the beginning which was well organised. It was a fairly flat course which a few slight inclines but overall very well organised and enjoyable.

In short: nice scenery but nasty hills at the end
In full: Entered on the day which was quick and easy. Was scenic ad slightly muddy. The hill at the end was a struggle especially the second time round and the whole race seemed more than 10k. Enjoyable all the same.
