In full: Very hot again!

A nice place to visit and a well managed race.

The only thing missing was a sign as you enter the village from Chipping Norton pointing towards the car park.

In short: An excellent, well run race
In full: This year the traffic control was better than before in that at the two or three bottlenecks (Welford Bridge etc) the traffic was stopped so that impatient motorists couldn't try to barge through a group of runners.

In short: Fantastic route, a real challenge!
In full: Great fun in the mud... large section were on good tracks so you had a chance to recover between mud baths.

The marshalling was good for the first half but was less obvious and helpful on the final third when the runners need it most. My wife was one of the later runners and was often running on her own. In several places she was unsure where to go; the route was marked but when someone is almost exhausted they need it to be very clear where to go.

So if that could be improved for next year that would be great.
