In short: A mad dash around the race course and walls
In full: A real boxing day treat. Run off the Christmas pud with a dash around the old Roman walls sandwiched between a bit of cross country. The event is fun with lots of fancy dress in evidence and a mince pie and mulled wine at the end.

In short: Special race, one of a kind.
In full: It's always going to be tough over 54 miles but I still enjoyed it. Thr traffic was a problem at times and Ditchling Beacon was a killer but overall it was great. I still have a warm glow a week later - or maybe that's the lactic still in my legs!

In short: PB potential - at least half a mile short! Dull race on main roads - too much traffic (I saw one near-miss). No medal/t-shirt/nothing at all at the finish. A half-decent training run - no more.

In short: Challenging uphills, but they come down too so quite fast - PB for me!
