In short: This was generally a well organised race - well marshalled with plenty of water stations. In full: However the course was uninspiring and some-what dangerous the second time around (when many of the roads had been reopened and we were car dodging). It was a shame the massage tent had gone by the time the marathon runners finished. The crowd support was excellent on the first lap and there was enthusiatic support from those who waited for us on lap 2 - THANKS. Date of review: September 4, 2007

In short: Good terrain - very little road, sufficient hills but not terrible, and loads of mud- multi-terrain shoes are a must. In full: The race atmosphere was OK however it's a pity that some of our supporters received complaints for purchasing cakes - even when some of them were for runners. It's important that families and supporters are made to feel welcome at such events, as their support is much appreciated. Date of review: November 24, 2006
