In short: Good mix of city and country
In full: Fairly flat and fast. Good mix of environments from city streets to rural villages, parks through to shopping centres. Plenty of water stations and martials. No glamour or glitz but good straightforward event. Many thanks to the organisers for keeping us upto date on the RW forum. Also really like the LS T-shirt. I am shallow :-)

In short: tough on the legs not on the wallet
In full: I can't remember looking at much scenery - I was concentrating on the hills in front and behind me. Hard race but very enjoyable. The socks were nearly worth the entrance fee alone. Well done again OWLS

In short: Hardest but most enjoyable race in years
In full: Some of the best scenery in the UK with a bit of everything but tough as nails in places. I was glad not to race but use it as a training run. Beats the hell out of pounding the streets.

In short: Tough but worth it
In full: Very undulating with the heat taking it's toll. Lovely run in the scenic lanes though. Good competition with lots of club runners

In short: Big city race
In full: Pre race was a bit of a problem. Long queues for parking then toilets, finding baggage storage etc. meant a big rush when I should have had plenty of time. Typical of these big races I suppose.

Race itself was very good. Excellent crowds esp. those going up to Hunters Bar which could rival London for energy and enthusiasm. Lots of water stations and energy drinks were a nice bonus. Not as hilly as you would imagine but quite draining still. Very enjoyable.

In short: Like clockwork
In full: There is not a downside to this race. Challenging course, generous aid stations (chocolate, jelly babies, high5 gels, water and sponges), faultless organisation. Perfect

In short: fast , flat and exposed
In full: Seemed like a huge proportion of club runners there. Add that to the flat course and I think it's a very fast race. Shame about the wind - I could see the time ticking away as we were buffeted by it a 8k. Overall very nice

In short: Who knew it was so nice in coventry?
In full: Not a PB course but lovely country lanes. Quite a cluby feel with the inter-counties and W.R.R.L but slower runners would not feel excluded.
Nice relaxed feel using hotel as the HQ.
Well done Northbrook AC

In short: fast and flat in perfect conditions
In full: Fastest marathon course you'll find. However, like everyone says, the concrete walkway is dull and when your suffering it's a real killer. Good to give out lucozade pouches and water in bottles at some stations.

Could not have expected more.

In short: lovely day, great race
In full: Some days you look around and think this is why I run. Seeing the countryside coated with snow gave me one of those feelings yesterday in one of the best races of the year. It might have been cold but it was actually a lovely day to run.

The race is fast, flat and attracts a lot of club runners - I think even more so this year being too close to FLM for some of the more casual runners. Traffic is not a problem. For next year please cut the grass on the 50m run in to the finish ;-) Finishers mug is far better than a cheap t-shirt too. Massage afterwards was nice too. Seems they catered for everything. Well done white horse harriers.
