In short: Challenging course
In full: A nice mix of up and down hill sections, although the hill at 7 miles was a bit of a surprise and nearly finished me. Surprisingly ran a PB.

In short: A good charge
In full: Good race for PB. Problem with KM markers in the first half - one was attached to a cone, too low down to see properly. However, overall, a good quick charge around.

In short: A hard chug but enjoyable
In full: The flatness of the course would have been extremely dull had it not been for the crowds cheering us on in most places. By going in the 3rd wave, I had the bonus of overtaking for most of the run, which is always helpful.

In short: A good charge
In full: Good course for a no holds barred charge. Possibly too many fun runners being over ambitious and starting too near the front, I seemed to be mainly overtaking for the first 3k, but overall a good run out. Good PB

In short: Hard work on a hot day
In full: I posted my slowest time of the year, it seemed much longer than 10k but probably wasn't, and there was no water just sugary drinks that made me more thirsty - the hot weather didn't help this. I had real difficulty with this one. If this is on again next year, I'd do it, but ensure my wife was on hand to provide water, just in case. I didn't realise there were so many gradients at CP park.
