In short: Fantastic setting and lovely race
In full: Can't wait for the next one! Apparently always starts late which got me in trouble with the missus but otherwise an excellent race. I will definitely check out their other open races (I would join but I think being a member of 2 clubs is already enough)

In short: A personal worst time and I would do it again tomorrow - absolutely excellent
In full: This has got to rank as one of friendliest races I have ever done (equal to midsummer Munro) and I have done quite a few. People don't enter because it is 6 laps but they are missing out on a wonderful experience. Well done.

In short: Not my cup of tea but taking it for what it was it was an excellent 'race' - am I contradicting myself?
In full: Well I have given it 100% and then said I would not do it again. I felt envious of those who knew Richmond Park because that would have given you a huge advantage as the check points would have been recognisable from the map. I completely lost my sense of direction. It was fun enough but I would rather do it walking but with the check points hidden or just do a run. A pleasant enough evening though and good to see that Ranelagh Harriers have the Orion petition in their clubhouse (thanks)!

In short: Well it was Newham so I wasn't expecting any more than a good training run and that was exactly what I got!
In full: The organisers actually did well to make this almost traffic free which is not easy in a location like Newham! I found it tough with the wind which was good. It would have been easy to put out km markers and I probably lost a minute or so early on without being able to pace myself. Will probably do again but it wasn't very inspiring. Goody bag did not materialise and I was in the top 20.

In short: Delightful race what a shame I don't live in Hove else this would be a weekly event for me. Back in Hove end of August so will definitely be doing it again. Fast, relaxed friendly atmosphere and suitable for all levels of ability.
In full: I saw some people out jogging whilst we did the 'race'. Why not john in? This is a race for all types of runner and would be an excellent way of entering a race without being intimidated or feeling out of place. Excellent. If only there was a north (east) London one for me!

In short: Please tell me that I have finished and there are no more steps. Awesome challenge - fantastic
In full: I have never done anything that imposes such relentless stress on my mind and body. There was no respite from the torture and even when a flat bit (it it all relative) you felt obliged to push the pace and suffer more to make up for the bits when there was no alternative but to walk. A run for the true masochist. Organisers, marshalls, food and drinks, sympathy, encouragement - all were available in abundance. Thank you and see you next year :-S

In short: Excellent very fast race.
In full: Agree with most of comments but thought parking was excellent. I am sure if you turned up at the last moment it might be busy but half an hour before the start there was no problem. Starter promised results the sme day but no sign of them yet. Why say it at all - I don't mind waiting a couple of days but it's annoying being mislead. T-shirts were available but you had to buy in advance (good idea as it reduced the cost) - I wish I'd bought one though. Great cheering through the finishing line reminded me of London (Marathon.

In short: Great little race bit humid on the day but very flat and potentially fast
In full: Humidity slowed me down - can't blame the organisers for that! Great run for beginners and perhaps not suited to the very serious pb seeker. I quite liked passing the 4k fun runners near the end and if they were in the way I just called out as I approached.

In short: Despite some hills this is a pretty quick course
In full: There are plenty of runs in Epping Forest for those who want them (usually me). I like this race because it stays local and doesn't drift off towards Epping. Today was as good a race as ever and it was great having the sun in my face as I ran along.

In short: I love this race - but where was the start line?
In full: Apart form the lack of the start line and the announcer who, after saying the race would start with a hooter then proceeded to say - 'GO' - this race was perfect (and the hills aren't that bad)
