In short: great 20 miler The slightly undulating course makes the route more interesting than a completlely flatonee
In full: Cold, damp weather great for running and excellent organisation. Local church complained about all the runners so the race was delayed otherwise quick results and great goody bag. Souvenir bumbag is in demand from wife and son

In short: magnificent event
In full: Have run the marathon 12 times and I look forward to it months in advance. Great scenery, friendly-lots of runners of all abilities, and very well organised.

In short: Great mix of town and country
In full: Quite warm but lovely tree lined route around the nicest parts of Newbury with not many hills with a great atmosphere at start and finish in the centre of Newbury in the market place.
Very efficient quick results service too.

In short: great locals race
In full: very friendly atmosphere and fairly friendly course too until 3 miles where it becomes undulating. Great selection of beer bbq, cakes and childrens races at the rec.

In short: Great course of steep hills and scary downs.
In full: Always look forward to this race. Great cakes after, first rate marshalling and results up even before you have changed. Even the cold weather had improved on the day and the sun came out.

In short: terrific little locals race with a one lap scenic mildly undulating route..

In short: Great course and good atmosphere
In full: Nice to run a race through Newbury town with virtually no traffic, good marshalling and a varied and interesting course without too many hills.
Many local peopla running meant good spectator support

In short: A great way to see glorious wiltshire scenery
In full: Although mainly off road and hilly times are only slightly slower than a road run and you get to see far more interesting terrain and views!

In full: If you like a undulating and friendly race this is the one. A great finish venue and good food after the run.

In short: beach hills mud and even some tarmac but not much.
In full: A terrific event which seems to be supported by the whole town (and region).
Constant challenging hills or shingle beach mean that stamina is essential
