In short: Excellent race - great route.
In full: Great route with good mix of road running, grass, tracks, etc. Quite a few small hills to give you a good test (most in the second half !). Friendly atmosphere, well marshalled (I do not believe I have ever seen so many at a 10K), nice mug at finish.

In short: Is this the most scenic race in Dorset ?
In full: Challenging course for a 10K, but a lovely route with spectacular views of the Castle, the lakes, the old castle ruins, gardens, etc. Wind today made the course a bit tougher than normal, but the sun shining made the scenery even better, especially the sun shining over the lake.

In short: Great race for all standards.
In full: This is the one-lap version of the 10K course, so good scenery through Baiter Park and Pooel Harbour, and road closures enable plenty of space on the course enabling good times. Good organisation. Highly recommended for all standards including beginners.

In short: Well organised again, excellent water stations
In full: Always a good challenge for this time of year, lots of hills to run up !! Well organised, good VFM, lots of water stations (welcomed). Weather was fine today, cool but sunny, so the scenery was excellent.

In full: Agree with all the other comments. Nice route, well organised (good baggage handling), very friendly race - runners of all standards. Nice mug, hot drinks and cakes very welcome at the end.

In short: Very good addition to the calendar
In full: I notice the entry forms are out for next year already, and the entry fee down to £5. With the right publicity this could become a very popular event. Very good course (as per Quarter Marathon and parts of the Bay run), so scenic and not easy, yet not too daunting. Having both the 5K and 10K options a great idea. Will be back next year.

In short: Pity about the rain
In full: Parking and leaving Portsmouth was a bit easier again this year I found, and toilets have improved a lot. I really think the wave starts work really well over the last couple of years and although there are plenty of people to give a good atmosphere I found no problems running my own pace - Only improvment I can suggest was that the crowd were a bit close (blocked half the road in places) at 6-7 miles and perhaps some more marshals would help give runners more room.

In short: Friendly fun run for all standards. Interesting course.
In full: Course is completely off-road through the tracks of Moors Valley country park. Enough little hills and undulations to make it interesting and challenging, but not too tough. Very good mix of non-club and fun runners as well as competetive runners nearer the front. Good tee-shirt.
