In short: Beautiful event
In full: Great all round - most encouraging marshalls ever, awesome scenery and not too tough.
Pen much better than a medal or the paperweight last time I did it. A recycled one would be better still.
Very special indeed.

In short: Great atmosphere and organisation
In full: Very classy race, great buzz with the duathlon at the same event. Good cafe - good places to get warm on another cold and wet day. Nice showers if you can find them. Goody bags, tshirt. Loads of prizes.Love it.

In short: Great race on a beautiful day
In full: It was almost too hot, but plenty of shade round the course. The start is very narrow for a race this size.
Great organisations and friendly marshalls, very good overall.

In short: A true classic
In full: I turned up with a long overdue PB in mind and got it - by 1.45. Conditions were ideal.
The goody bag contains only a tree - its my 3rd time there so a decent forest developing in my garden.

In short: Good course, look forward to more
In full: Very low turnout - deserves more support, decent course with small 2 or 3 small hills but mostly flat and quiet.
No-one really told me that the start was 1km away from HQ, so nearly missed it!
Otherwise another great Gloucester event

In short: Not as good as it used to be
In full: I also got a warning from the cross official - totally understand the point but how racing isn't much fun if you are not allowed to overtake other contestants without risking disqualification.
I and many others thought the mile markers were inaccurate and the race 0.3 miles too long.
Thanks to marshalls who kept smiling through awful conditions.

In short: Good race but silly place to start it
In full: I can cope with the walk back from the finish (though can understand if some find that a problem), but surely something better can be found for a start other than 400 people crowding onto a busy road with traffic coming from either side. Why not start at the sports centre and finish earlier on the lane?

In short: Flat, fast course, big race feeling but no-one watching except police with massive guns
In full: The course was somewhat monotonous but very little traffic and fast on a windless day. Liked the banana and muesli bar - every race should have this at the end,I'm fed up of breaking my teeth trying to eat medals.

In short: Top quality occasion
In full: The finish is virtually inside the pub, and everyone has a beer in hand within half a minute, great way to create an atmosphere at the end and make us forget the definitely hilly hills (undulating doesnt enter into it - the first 5k is pretty flat, the 2nd 5k pretty hilly).
£8 is a great price for everything involved, special mention due for very hassle free parking.
