In short: Superb organisation, you can't get lost or go wrong. Horse brass for finishing is a nice touch.

In short: Was ok race, its gets a bit thin in places and you can get trapped with slower runners.

In short: My god did it rain! this was a mud-fest, few climbs nice course well worth it.

In short: This is a fantasic half mara. The course climbs some incredible scenery and there is no chance of getting lost, unless you run with eyes closed!
In full: One point to note is the finish goes the wrong way down a one way street and the traffic is not stopped. On the other two races of this weekend series there was a marshall on the last bend to at least warn cars and get them looking both ways, but on this one there was no marshall and I nearly got wiped out in my sprint finish.

In short: This was a killer after the 3 miler in the morning but well worth it. the views and countryside are beautiful.
