In short: Quite good for a debut race
In full: Really good potential to become a much bigger race in the future.

Good effort by the organisers - the race itself has all the same positive attributes as the David Lloyd Quarter and the Bournemouth Bay Half.

There are a few minor things that could be done to attract more club runners, but I gather the organisers are intent to do this. Otherwise, I would say possibly a bit steep price wise, but all in all pleased to submit a positive report.

In short: testing course! make you realise your hill training could be better!
In full: not one to expect a PB on, but a well organised friendly race. Would be more than happy to run it again, but probably only if it's a league race. Only slight moan is that would have expected more than just a pen for the cost of race entry.

In short: One of the best races in the south
In full: super fast course, christmas pudding finishing prize and and excellent array of placings prizes, great atmosphere, well marshalled, suitable for beginners and faster runners.

Chris does an excellent job on this race and no wonder it's become one of the most popular in Dorset, always filling up months in advance.

In short: Superb organisation
In full: The enforced route change means it isn't as flat as it used to be, but a superbly marshalled course and the results were available quicker than at any other race I've been to.

In short: great race for all abilities
In full: attracting the calibre of runners it did this year was no surprise at all.

A scenic run along Baiter can sometimes be windswept and a June 2pm can can also be scorching, but if not for the spectators, the conditions showed why it is a potential PB course on the right day

In short: Scenery aside, if you are looking for a PB this is the perfect race for it
In full: I've run this race four times now and set a new PB each time. First time runners should be made more aware that it can and does get very busy, but turn up in good time, get in the right place and there are few problems. I agree with an earlier comment that the first time band beyond elite runners should have been faster than 100 minutes. It is a fast course with good support and an excellent pre-London race. One other small gripe, the Lucozade they were giving out could have done with the caps being removed beforehand.
