In short: Super duper race
In full: A little hot but the organisers couldnt do anything about that! The course was incredibly scenic and pretty fast. There is a slighly nasty incline at 12.5 miles which although cannot really be classed as a hill makes sure your legs know they're coming to the end of the race.

In short: Pretty Taxing Slopes
In full: a good race, with some quality athletes. The fact that they make you go up the hill 4 times is a little nasty and the gradual slope up to the finish is a little bit of a nasty one too! overall, very good organisation, nice and friendly and nice T-Shirt which will no doubt add to Mrs BJ's pyjama collection...

In short: Nice and quick, and I'm sure a tad shorter than ten miles!
In full: Excellent PB potential. Although my first 10 mile race, it was always going to be a PB but very satisfactory 64 mins 52 secs for me.

In short: Excellent and challenging race.
In full: I did get a PB at this although it was only my second race - so sort of expected one! Be warned though this is not a fast course. Some of the sections are extremely challenging being off road and uphill and very narrow in places making over taking difficult. Excellent race though, and I look forward to doing it again next year.
