In short: good race, rubbish weather.
In full: Full of admiration for the marshals who braved the conditions without the incentive of running to the finish line to escape the cold driving rain. Metal water bottle was a good momento making a nice change from a medal.

In short: Great running fun for the family
In full: My daughter enjoyed the Chase the Rabbit - it is amazing the motivation that a promise of chocolate gives. The Beat the Egg was great fun too, though I didn't manage to catch the egg it was a great race around the trails of the Storhead estate.

In short: So where were the bluebells!
In full: Great organisation, great route but no bluebells - so I guess that I will have to come back next year to see if I can see them!

In short: Good course along quiet country lanes
In full: Flattish 10K course along quiet country lanes; friendly marshal's; well organised; didn't bother collecting a medal at the finish - how about something different?

In short: One of the most picturesque courses around, which takes your mind off the hill!
In full: Great low key run around glorious grounds of Wilton House. Well organised and I even got the right size t-shirt this year!

In short: A really good local road race.
In full: Where else can you get to run on a certified 10K course with smooth organisation for under a tenner. The medal was erm' a waste (I was more than happy with the water and banana).
One minor gripe was that it seemed to take a very long time to produce any results and I had to leave before the presentation commenced, although I had not won anything my club-mates had and would liked to have supported them, but most of them had left also.

In short: A very enjoyable mornings effort - well done Eco-fitness.
In full: Picturesque off-road course; Beany hat made a good alternative to a medal; Smooth organisation once I had found the Race HQ; The only downside was my own lack of fitness - so I will be back next year to improve!

In short: Great fun, great scenery and a great big trophy!
In full: Enjoyed the event as a five mile cross-country race, there were fewer horsejumps in the first two miles than I expected (just one I think) but the ones coming after three miles were a real challenge on tired legs and I really needed the hay bales to get a leg up.
As an extra bonus I was part of the winning Mens team for which we got a rather large silver gilt cup.

In short: A very good local event over a certified 5-mile course.
In full: OK so I am more than a little biased, but well done to all of those who accomplished PB's over this course and stayed on at the Fox for the BBQ & band. I am glad that you liked the race memento of a commemorative coffee coaster. See you next year.
