In short: Breathtaking hills and scenery. Perfect organization, well done.
In full: The hills just keep on coming at you but there is an equal amount of down. The hill at mile 8 is the hill from hell, first time ever I've not been able to run up one. Perfect and friendly organization from what seems a small club, they should be proud. What scenery to run through!

In short: Hard but picturesque.
In full: Everything a small club event should be. Hard hill but lots of fast downs to make up for it. Very scenic, well organised and welcoming. One of my top races every year. Seeing the old motorcycles riding past an added bonus.

In short: Well organised picturesque race.
In full: Very well organised race through pretty country roads. Start a bit congested but otherwise no bad marks. Water stations where needed. Bargain in comparison to many. Well done to the organisers, I'll be back next year.

In short: Good route, perfect organization but strangely souless.
In full: Organization shows the quality of this race, can't be bettered. Nice to pass great landmarks. Good medal/ t-shirt. Bands around the course appreciated. Great finish. Good PB potential. However much of it is just so quiet!

In short: Harder than I expected but well organised race.
In full: First half was fabulous, second half less so. Glorious scenery to start, nice and quiet. Running along the open roads back not so good but most motorists very sensible. Expected th first half hills but the one at 21 hurt and the final drag into the finish just sapped the will to live! Getting out of the park at the end was a mare. Enjoyed it all but not enough to trek back for another. However thans for the oranisation and perfect water station.

In short: First half twisty and uneven, second half very fast
In full: Bit trricky getting up to pace in the first half as the track is narrow in places and very uneven. After 6k this is a very fast race. Well organised and marshalled others could learn from this. Results on show within minutes! Well done to all involved.

In short: Could be very fast if not for breeze in exposed sections.
In full: Ok race as part of my marathon training, only slopes seemed to be underpasses. Wind a bit of a problem in exposed areas. Need more people handing out water and more signs. I turned up at 9:25 and parked with no problem, once I had found the car park at the end I was out in minutes so can't comment on others negative experiences. Changeing and bag storage a joke. Just about what I needed for this race, wasn't expecting too much scenery anyway but I've raced in worse.
