In short: Nice run through some nice country
In full: Enjoyed this run in a city I have never been to before. The crowds were extremely friendly and provided a good lift just when you needed it and the drink stations were well (wo)manned. On that note, thanks for those who were manning the stations and the marshals as well.

Just one niggle: the start could have done with some staggering. However, from past experience nobody takes any note of their predicted times so it is a moot point anyhow!

Well done to the Cumbrians for providing a warm welcome.

In short: Mud-tastic!
In full: Cheers to the marshals who, despite the wind, rain and temperatures, were cheerful and encouraging. Well done to all involved!

In short: Good fast race with good organisation.
In full: One of the better organised races with a top goodie bag. A small change in the course due to works around the park did not detract form what is a good, traffic-free run in nice surroundings. Furthermore, the general public lending encouragement was a lift.

I did not see all the distance markers but that happens on lots of races.

Well done to all involved and give yourselves a pat on the pack.

In short: I like this race
In full: It is not the most scenic of races but it more than makes up for it by some of the great marshalling you get in this race. Swinton RC have dome themselves proud again. Well done!

In short: Nice scenery but son't expect a PB.
In full: The soft sand was a struggle on this. It was a quiet affair but still relatively well attended race, considering the 5k was on the same day.

In short: PB race which is faultlessly organised.
In full: The marshals were great and the general organisation brilliant. It is a fast course but does have a few sneaky climbs in it. The towel is a mint greet colour which matches my bathroom. What more can one want?

In short: A world of glorious pain
In full: Incessant rocky hills, the sun beating down on you, your quads burning with pain. Wonderful. Great finish as well, with a magnificent crowd cheering you on.

Thanks to all involved as you were wonderful. Especially the spectators!

In short: Well organised, great value race. Excellent marshalling.
In full: Very 'clubby' this race (hey, it's a Tuesday evening!) but with a good smattering of unattached runners.

The organisation is great and the marshalling excellent, with enthusiastic encouragement. Nice towel as well.

Thanks to all involved!
