In short: Pleasant running as all Sherwood runs are
In full: Car parking was a bit chaotic as Duathlon finishers were leaving as 5k/10k runners arrived. Not a marshall in sight. I may be wrong but I think the provisional results are from the gun not crossing the start line. Did better than my mate though who entered on the day but doesn't figure in the results

In short: A very well organised day
In full: Good race but wonder why there had to be such narrow funnels immediately after the start of the race. Slowing down, lose rhythm etc. Can't really see why it was necessary with such wide streets

In short: Too many niggles to be good
In full: Some of the distance markers ( if not all ) were iffy. 5 mins 20 secs to 1st and 4 mins 8 secs to 2nd. I don't think so. Thought £11 for a malted milk biscuit was a bit steep

In short: A very well organised day
In full: I had forgotten how undulating ( ie uphill) the first half is. Must have missed the fast second half!

In short: What a shame they can't organise a brewery trip
In full: Last year's finish line shambles transferred to the start . A brain surgeon wasn't required to know it would be. You try and get the family to the car park by 8am or even 0830
