In short: Worth all the pain i'm experiencing today
In full: 1st time, loved the whole day. Pity about the queue to get in and not haveing the 2 min silence at the appropriate time - no excuse for not planning for that. But the race itself was great, each stage seemingly more difficult than the previous one. Only real gripe is the slowness through the Bogs of Doom - didn't mind the mud but my legs were frozen as I exited it. Inexperienced runners? you'll need to train if you're going to try this next year!!

In short: Friendly, welcoming event, part of a (optional) series of 3 during the summer months. But, ugh, that hill at the end...!!

In short: Tough for complete novices
In full: Well organised, plenty of marshalls. But beginners should be aware how much of this circular course is up-hill: a lot of it! Wish the marshalss wouldn't say "it's all down hill from here" at the 5, 6 and 7K stages when it quite clearly isn't!

In short: Beautiful venue, but more water stations needed
In full: Yeah OK lots of money was raised but regardless of the fact it wasn't a race as such, if you (pay to) enter a 10K then you should expect to be able to run 10K. And to only have one water station en route was on oversight.
