In short: First time for me - Superb!
In full: The setting and terrain make it seem like the best bits of 4 different routes all together!!! Well organised and friendly, and a run that is both enjoyable and challenging. Was relieved to find a friendly following wind on the beach too - wonder if I'd be writing the same thing if it was the opposite direction.....? :-)

In short: Best route by far, well organised, nicely supported
In full: Have run this 5 times, and this was the best route (apart from the 'round the cone' near the finish on North Rd). Heard about the wait for baggage at the end, sorry to hear that - I was lucky as I used the car and carried my key. Being great weather helped, but thanks to the supporters for turning out in their hundreds!
It's only my opinion - but the bottlenecks really aren't helped by runners using headphones - to me, it's like driving using a mobile, and a little ignorant to the crowds cheering you on....Overall, really enjoyed the run - will be back again.
PS. I think the 4-mile marker was really late, causing an unnecessary speed-up for the next mile.

In short: Once again - a fantastic race
In full: Have run this twice, 2008's weather couldn't have been more different, and both occaisions were a pleasure - helping to prove what a special event it is!
I ran with a muscle strain, not something I normally do- but didn't want to miss this!!!

In short: Loved it - a totally unique run!!!
In full: It's got the great quality of being quite tough, but also really welcoming for a first-timer.

In short: Tough, but amazing at the same time
In full: A fantastic route - helped by the weather! I'm usually too focused on my own pain to notice the surroundings, but they were stunning! A little too 'over-organisied', eg telling us all to carry a mobile phone, while neglecting to tell us the half marathon route was different from the one on the website - how many 'half' runners thought we were on the 'full' route after Worm's Head? All in all a great run tho', will never forget it, and will be back for more :-)

In short: Good race, but please ban headphones!!
In full: Route was OK for a last-minute re-adjust!
But really narrow, especially as more and more are using headphones - please ban them before someone gets barged into the Taff!
Anyone know how much time I should add on for cutting the corner in Blackweir? Could have done with a marshall or 2 there...

In short: Cracking route, but please, a bit more pre-race info?
In full: An incredible route, and a special 'thank you' to the marshals who braved the difficult conditions. However, we could do with some more pre-race info, especially for a first-timer like me. ie. a map of the route, an indication of mileage, etc.

In short: Superbly organised, full of character!!
In full: Slow up, fast down. May invest in some trail shoes next year. I was like 'bambi on ice' coming down in the wet. The ascent is an awesome challenge but the race length is ideal. I would have driven a lot more than the 45 mins it took me to do a run like this.

In short: Expensive, but just about worth it
In full: Good route, apart from a couple of sharp "turn around the traffic cone" late on.
Being hot made it tough, but brought out loads of supporters which helped me forget the heat!! (the atmosphere at the finish was superb).
The delayed start couldn't be helped, but please let us know before we've all lined up to go.

In short: A little gem!!!
In full: More of a race than a fun-run, so was a bit intimidated at the start-line, but there was no need to be! Atmosphere was friendly, and there were plenty of fun-runners like me! A 5k is too quick to take in the amazing beauty of this route - pity, but nice and flat, excellent for a good PB attempt!
