In short: Great race, lovely and scenic. Amazing marshalls - I fainted at mile 9 and DNF but they were absolutely fab. Will be back next year to complete!

In short: Hot hot hot!
In full: Travelled from Birmingham for this one and thoroughly enjoyed the experience despite the heat! I ran this as a pre marathon training run, was meant to be ran at a nice steady marathon pace but even that was hard in the temperatures. The course was certainly undulating...lots and lots of ups and downs which became tiring towards the end. The water station marshalls were fab nans so was the chap with the hose who sprayed us down ..best bit of the race! Goody bag was fab..a toothbrush!!! All in all, a great race with a good atmosphere and good organisation. Only gripe was dodgy start...none of us knew we'd actually begun until a passer by told us!

In short: owwww - switch backs a killer...just as I was enjoying the race the agony began at 10 miles! Beautiful run but tough..the switchbacks wear you down for whats coming later but the marshalls are lovely, so friendly. Sheer guts and detemination needed b
