In short: OK, with flaws
In full: Good spectator support, great array of drinks at end, PA guy was fairly amusing

but:

Average looking course, poor placement of some km markers, should supply drinks just after half way

In short: Couple of gripes, but enjoyed it
In full: Good atmosphere, good pre-race facilities, good turnout. The course was fine, a couple of hills including one at the end but expect this in most races. Didn't really have a problem with running on the grass at times, although near the end it was very slippy when going uphill. The main negative was the km markings - 8 to 9 km seemed to be very short and the last km was way over the distance - i would estimate it to be nearer a mile.

In short: Superb
In full: An excellent route, meandering through Hertfordshire Countryside. A couple of hills but they didn't last long. Would definitely run it again. Only complaint was that the starting point was too narrow.

In short: Pain is pleasure
In full: A very challenging but very enjoyable London warm up race. Was well organised and all marshalls (and fellow runners) were very friendly. It really is a tough hilly course, and we also encountered the mix of warm sun and blowing winds which made things extra tough. If you can do this hilly 20 miles, you are well on the way to being able to run a flat marathon. There were also a lot of attractive female runners which was uplifting!

In short: A few flaws but overall good
In full: Nice, quick course mainly along the sea front which is refreshing. Went out far too quickly but that's my fault. Would definitely do it again. Also a very good goody bag. Couple of points to improve:

-not enough loos
-not very visable mile markings

Also, encountered a very bar scenario in the first mile or so. Some fool decided to sit/lie in the main road and try to deliberately trip up runners. I'm sure one or two almost casme crashing down and i hope he was removed

In short: Good, challenging course but things could be improved
In full: No complaints about the race itself, 3rd time i have run it and will do so again. Only gripes i have is that there was no medal and that the finish line was hard to itentify
