In short: Ran the 10 miler - fab race
In full: Tempest 10 - one lap of Spitfire course but can't find where to rate it.
Excellent organisation as always - ran the 20 in March and happy to be finshing at 10 this time. You choose 10 or 20 - why disheartening?
Fab atmosphere - dmvac runner paced me through my last 2 miles and I got my pb - many thanks.Best Mars bar ever and I now have the 10/20 medal set.
Bring on the Molehills!

In short: Lovely bumpy course, great portaloos ;)
In full: Lovely friendly atmosphere at the flower show, very inclusive for runners . Course truly urolling to start then flattened out, mainly around pretty country lanes . The usual bugbear of the tannoy man commenting on "serious" runners and "fun" runners. Those guys nearer the back were probably having less fun in the heat than those who stormed in first, and were equally serious about training. Rant over. It was a lovely little race, well marshalled, positions recorded by people not chips - the real grass roots of running. Thanks SLH

In short: Lovely lovely 20 miler, with airplanes too !
In full: Great inaugural running of the Spitfire. HQ at Dunsfold aerodrome - Top Gear territory. 2 lap course - out through undulating country lanes for 7 ish, then 3 around the race track and repeat. Baggage dump a bit slow but sortable and secure. CHanging area indoors available too.Water stations frequent and well mannned, although the energy drink ran out fairly early at mile 15.Marshalls lovely, shame about the few inconsiderate drivers but there were a lot of runners on the road early on. Better in the second lap.Airfield sections great to run - flat tarmac with planes and helicopters to take your mind off the pain. All in all ran really smoothly for a first time - thanks Run to Live guys - you done good :)

In short: Excellent organisation and a lovely PB- what more could a girl want?
In full: Not pretty, but functional 10k. Lovely atmosphere, buzzy HQ with good facilities. My first "sensible" race in a while (- ie no mud, no dressing up, no vertical bits or steps)so fancied a pb and got it by 2 mins :) Marshalling was excellent - several roundabouts, junctions etc with plenty of people at all of them looking out for us.
Thanks 26.2 - nothing to moan about at all !

In short: Insane
In full: ABsolutely ridiculous way to spend New Year. Hardest hills, steps, more steps, lunatic downhills, sweties, steppping stones, more steps and the last km that makes you feel like you can fly. Worth doing for that alone- makes you forget the first 9k!
Organisation everything you could ask for, cheese n pickle rols and tommy soup at the end, brill mug and excellent long sleeve techy t shirt. Next year? Try stopping me!

In short: Grimtastic fun!
In full: My first Grim, done Sunday so freezing cold but blue skies and sunshine made for a glorious day. Great mix of puddles, knee deep porridgey mud, trails, tracks, open land and forest. People have commented not Grim enough, but probably serves as a good introduction for the masses to the more extreme stuff.
Giggled all the way round - great fun, which is what its all about.

In short: Keeps on getting better!
In full: Ran my 15th race today,as always fab organisation, stunning scenery, special atmosphere. This gives such an opportunity for people to discover running - the back markers are as inspiring as the class speed merchants, and the kids never cease to amaze me. Heartfelt thanks to all involved, long may we continue!

In short: Truly undulating
In full: A lovely way to spend an evening despite the foul weather. Lovely course, proper undulating with a longish hill from 7k. Bit dodgy underfoot through the woods at the end, but a great downhill across the park to finish. Well marshalled , nice atmosphere, thanks to RPAC.
