In short: Glorious In full: I know its unseasonally mild but what a great little race. Mud (tho not as much as you might expect in Feb), climbs, roots, rocks and a surprising amount of (family). great location and know real problems. One to mark on your calenders guys Date of review: February 26, 2012
In short: one for the bucket list In full: missed out on this one last year due to calf tear - so glad i made it this year. in a word BRILLIANT. get in early next year as no entries on the day !!! Date of review: January 15, 2012
In full: brilliant organisation as always with dbmax. dualathon, 10k and more dualathons!!. excellent vfm with a really nice medal. the fog didn't seem to put a damper on the atmosphere. forgot my gps so lap times were a bonus. well done to everyone involved Date of review: November 20, 2011
In short: bit long? In full: Agree with the water stations not on running line - and with a long course. Seemed odd not to get medal but money raised for a good cause. Shame that nearly 200 short on last year - but I knew of 3 other local races (incl swindon half) Date of review: October 12, 2011
In short: NEW COURSE! In full: The new course for 2011 was BRILLIANT - enjoyed every minute of it. Good mixture of road/offroad, muddy tracks, tree roots, grass/corn/maize fields, stiles, hills. Loved every minute of it! Date of review: September 25, 2011
In short: Blimey! In full: Carrying an injured calf so had to go steadier than I would have preferred - but left me with an even greater sense of achievement to finish, which in essence must be one of the hardest races around. Well worth doing though Date of review: September 5, 2011
In short: first try In full: My first tri and so glad I chose this one. excellent organisation from db max. may even be a convert now! thanx to all the marshalls etc who gave up their time today Date of review: August 7, 2011
In short: dnf? In full: Torrential rain/mud/wind/freezing cold, what more could you ask for from a M/T race in the UK in June????? Really well run event - sorry I couldn't do it justice due to a pulled hamstring a mile from the end (hobbled in rather than having my first dnf). Thanks to all the marshalls for taking care of me and standing in torrential rain for all of us. Next year maybe do better?
