In short: bit long?
In full: Agree with the water stations not on running line - and with a long course. Seemed odd not to get medal but money raised for a good cause. Shame that nearly 200 short on last year - but I knew of 3 other local races (incl swindon half)

In short: NEW COURSE!
In full: The new course for 2011 was BRILLIANT - enjoyed every minute of it. Good mixture of road/offroad, muddy tracks, tree roots, grass/corn/maize fields, stiles, hills. Loved every minute of it!

In short: Blimey!
In full: Carrying an injured calf so had to go steadier than I would have preferred - but left me with an even greater sense of achievement to finish, which in essence must be one of the hardest races around. Well worth doing though

In short: dnf?
In full: Torrential rain/mud/wind/freezing cold, what more could you ask for from a M/T race in the UK in June?????
Really well run event - sorry I couldn't do it justice due to a pulled hamstring a mile from the end (hobbled in rather than having my first dnf). Thanks to all the marshalls for taking care of me and standing in torrential rain for all of us. Next year maybe do better?

In short: no thunderstorms!
In full: So glad i decided to go ahead with this race even though it was an hour away - especially seeing as i left home in torrential rain AND thunder and lightning!!! But the rain held off for chard runners and what a charming (and hard) run this was. Definitely not an easy 10k (ish) but one that everyone should mark in their calender. Well done everyone - runners and organisers alike
