In short: Well organised tough run
In full: Really enjoyed this, the hills were tough but I train around RV all the time so expected it. Really well organised, and liked the gym bag instead of the usual t-shirt or medal. Will come back next year.

In short: Crap marshalling, unhelpful people at start of race.
In full: This has great potential but I won't be travelling 50 miles for it again. A joke with marshalling, mile markers weren't accurate. Thankfully I only ended up doing just over a quarter of a mile extra, most people did 11.4 miles. Pretty cack really.

In short: Love it!
In full: This is how a race should be organised. Superb. Oh, and I got a PB ;-) Really like this race, 2nd year on a trot and will be doing it again next year...

In short: Windy. Hilly. Well organised.
In full: Really enjoyed this one - well organised and good t-shirt. There were a couple of hills and plenty of undulating parts of the course. Unusual distance. I did way better than I hoped, nice scenery kept me entertained!

In short: Challenging but brilliant fun
In full: I actually did this in 2007 but there doesn't seem an option to rate that year's race.

Anyway....really good course, lots of countryside and enough hills to make it a challenge.

Friendly marshalling, and absolute bargain.

Only downside was the t***er who went the wrong way and then got in a mood when he was trying to get past us slower runners.

In short: Organisation superb - other races take note!
In full: Wow. Cracking run - enough hills to make it a test, marshalling absolutely superb. Great t-shirt. Good facilities. I can't fault it. One of the best events I've ever done.

In short: In short, superb event - a credit to the organisers
In full: Wooo. The first 4 miles were a beast but fantastic route, the marshalling was top-notch, really well-organised water stations, great start and finish, friendly atmosphere.

I decided a year ago that I was never going to be as quick as I used to be so I would do local races that are a bit different. I'm so glad I did - I bloody loved this event.

A really good t-shirt to top it off.

In short: Really good fun
In full: Well organised, well marshalled, plenty of water stations and good course.

For those moaning about the industrial landscape - this is the centre of Sheffield. It's not rocket science to work out that it will be industrial.

In short: What a fantastic event!
In full: I've heard a lot about this run, so thought I would have a go.

It was absolutely fantastic. I had been warned it was hilly so took it easy and just enjoyed myself. Got a mug, cake, drink, goody bag and a great time for £5. BARGAIN!

What a refreshing change from just running around roads, checking mile splits and worrying about time!

I am definately doing this again.

The only thing I would change would be more marshalls as lots of people got lost. Thankfully I didn't.....

In short: Why why why midday again????
In full: Organisation a joke as last year. Too hot - really suffered. Should be a morning start. This will be my last RV10K, my 2 worst 10Ks have been done here.
T-shirt was OK. Didn't have a clue where the finish line was (same as last year), late start (same as last year). The organisers need to get organised!!
