In short: An excellent must do again race!!
In full: This was my first year at Chippenham after years of the Bristol Half my local race, but after today and only 16 miles from house to start line I can't wait for next year. Great scenery, a relatively flat course with a finish that is made for speed. Marshalls and spectators were fabs especially the lady who was handing out jelly babies..Excellent all round :-)

In short: Well I loved it !!!!
In full: First the negative stuff, yes the delay was not welcome the park and rides were jammed and for me marshall's should have been stationed on all the traffic islands. I saw one bloke fly through the air like a salmon, it looked very painful.
On the plus side which were numerous for me the course is well laid out pretty flat, excellent pb material with the weather as well glourious. I even loved the goody bag the green tea drink was interesting yet still very welcome. As for the medal I ran with my cousin, this was his first half and he he was still wearing it down the pub on the evening so I don't think he had any moans about it and neither do I.............
Overall this is a great race maybe there are too many runners but to run in that splendour was fabs, can't wait for next year...............

In short: What is says
In full: The weather was just fantastic and the setting was text book Cotswold, got to love this race. The first hill was tough and the second one at about 6-7 miles went on for ever, but this is one for your racing calendar......bloody brilliant and the pub in Great Rissington looks one to visit ;-)

In short: Love this race
In full: Well organised. The race has a good feel about it and plenty of water stations, one thing this course is generally flat but there are some inclines that do go on for a while, but hey ho still love it

In short: My first marathon and not my last !!
In full: The entry fee is a little steep but considering there was water and sponges stations every 2 miles this can only be a good thing. Also the sports drink at 19 miles was very welcome, plus the money is divided up going to charity........:-)

As a race I actually enjoyed The Greenway, nice views good company, but I'm not too sure my hamstrings would agree with the mile up hill around 19-20 miles out. Thus as for a flat course I would also call it undulating at times.

Overall this is a well run race and I would do it again !!
