In short: Epic race - Not to be taken on lightly
In full: Excellent day out - helped by sunny (if windy) weather. Not a race that is easy to pace yourself on due to the terrain, but the scenery was great and everyone was friendly.

In short: Probably The Wettest, Windiest, Coldest Race I've Ever Done
In full: And that was just the warm up lap - just the one, couldn't face anymore! Circuit potentially fast on a warmer, dryer but more importantly less wondy day - very exposed - its a motor racing circuit afterall.
Excellent cafe facilities - much needed dryness for today! Enthusiastic organiser, commentator, and participants (you had to be to go out in today's weather.

In short: Excellent race, halped by unseasonally warm weather, flat country lane course, easy access and good organisation. 10 minutes off my PB didn't do any harm either!
In full: Now, I knpw I've only just got back in to running races after 5 years or so away from the sport, but I'm sure some things have changed a bit. Two weeks ago I was presented with a towel as a race momento which I thought was a novel change from the standard t shirt or medal, and this week... a loaf of bread! Full marks for originality there. OK, so it was actually barabrith and hence had a local relavence, and actually we don't race for the momentos anyway - do we?

As for the race itself - a big thank you to me from the guy from one of the Welsh clubs who paced me round for 10 of the 13 miles - just sorry I couldn't return the favour at some point! The course was excellent, and relatively traffic free, marshals were numerous and very effective, result - 1 happy PB performing runner, even with the hangover of a cold from the preceeding week.

Oh, and the bread - tasty, thanks.

In short: Being given a towel is a first for me - makes a welcome change from a medal or a t shirt!
