In short: Tough, Wet and Windy.
In full: An absolute fantastic race the weather conditions just added to the event. It's worth doing just for the scenery.
The start was delayed and there was a lot of hanging around but this wasn't a magor problem as long as you dressed for the occasion but once we got going the little hill that was in front of us took our mind of it. Also a great finish coming into Llanberis the support was superb.
Look forward to watching the coverage on S4C tonight, I'm the one in blue.

In short: Never thought I'd say this, too flat.
In full: Very fast, well organised. The marshalls were all superb and good arrangements around the start and the finish.
My only gripe which is more me than the race, being from the Welsh Sticks I'm use to a few hills and found it hard running too fast on a flat a course. But next week I'll be complaining Snowdonia's too hilly!! Perhaps my wife's got a point....

In short: Fantastic Day, even the local sheep came out to cheer us up the hill.
In full: Vey friendly, well organised and the course is fantastic as well as very tough. At the finish we were all looked after with Teas, Chocolate and Sarnies. Nice touch having the Mayor at the start and the end, the only downside was the looks we were getting from the Gortex clad, big boot wearing walkers on the hills.

In short: Text book event.
In full: This has got to be one of the best organised events I've had the pleasure of running in. Along with a superb course and cracking weather it turned into a really enjoyable morning.

In short: A pleasant morning run.
In full: Cracking day and a really nice course helped overcome the one or two little problems such as the lack of toilet facilities and the overcrowding at the start of the race. The main problem being slower runners rushing to the front of the start, which the organisers did try and warn people about on several occasions. But the highlight of my morning was the 1K funrun with the kids, pure fun.

In short: A few small issues but an enjoyable morning in the park.
In full: A bit expensive but I suppose it is for charity. But when you do pay that much I at least expect some sort of baggage drop off,we were quite lucky the weather was good so we could get away with just wearing running gear to the start. We were also warned beforehand that the paths were also open to the public so the organisers and marshalls can't really be blamed for the dogs and cyclists that caused a bit of a problem.
All in all a decent race that would suite any standard runner.

In short: Tough day out.
In full: I done the full Marathon which was a real tough challenge and my first trail Marathon, the first 15miles along the coast was magnificent, the rest of the run across farmland I was questioning what the hell I was doing. The mud was the biggest obstacle which came as bit of a shock being a novice but all in all a cracking days running.
My only gripe was the parking over a mile away which I'm aware couldn't be avoided due to the weather conditions but the walk back to the car did take the shine of things.

In short: A good morning out, better than previous years.
In full: This year was much better organised. Great atmosphere and support, especially the second half of the race. I've given a score of 4 for PB potential but if you start down the field my score goes down to 2 due to the crowds and narrow pathways around the parks and especially the riverbank. And the grasscrete approaching the castle has the potential to do a serious injury.
I feel this race could be so much more with a few tweaks here and there and who knows a return of the marathon, we could do with one in this part of the world.

In short: Even the sun came out for us.
In full: Everything was was spot on and straight forward from registration to the post race food. The actual run was perfect, good weather, great course, scenery and some of the most friendly and helpful marshalls I've ever encountered.
One little gripe, where are all the greasy spoons in Inverness?

In short: Very enjoyable morning out.
In full: Great setting with superb views and an excellent start and finsh at the track, It was very well organised and well marshalled. If this is the last year as I've just read it'll be a real shame as it has the recipe for a great event for anyone who wants to take part from the kids race to the fast old men!
