In short: Not properly planned
In full: The infrastructure would have been perfect for 200 runners, not the nearly 2,000 that seemed to turn up. Three masssive queues - collect number/chip, loos and baggage. Start delayed, but most people were still in queues when they gun went. Course was full of obstacles, pedestrians, dogs, children, cars until the tow path. At the finish, the queue for t-shirts, goody bags, chip removal, was back to the finishing line, so no space to slow down.

In short: Great course, well organised.
In full: Excellent organisation and a good mainly flat course. The gentle hills around the city were not a problem.

In short: Fast scenic course, good for spectators
In full: Low key local event. Smallish field gives plenty of space. Superb for a PB, but vulnerable to strong winds, so tuch in behind a bigger runner.

In short: Quite a hard course
In full: Why race in February? Well, the undulating course gives you a good training run before going into the exhibition to look at the latest kit.

This is not a slick mass participation event, but a low profile local event, which is just fine.

In short: Poor venue, poor organisation
In full: O2 site was too spread out to work as a decent venue. Organisation was poor. Feeding stations were undermanned.
