In short: Great prep for London, but expensive
In full: Third time of doing this and as well organised as ever. Was again hoping for something a little more rewarding than a mug. I have no idea how much races cost to organise but still feel this is really expensive in comparison to others (Cranleigh 21 last week cost less than a tenner).

Gripes aside, stuck 6 miles on the front of this, so albeit an early start, was pleased to have racked up 22 miles by half ten.

Thanks to the organisers and chirpy water stations.

In short: Superb value, well organised and great training run for London.
In full: Really enjoyable course (apart form the uphill at the end of the 6 mile loop!), well organised, enthusiastic marshalls, superb value for money and a really pleasing time. Would recommend it to anyone training for London.

In short: An enjoyable run, and due to laps it was an excellent way to gauge marathon pace in prep for FLM
In full: Really enjoyable run, friendly and encouraging marshalls and a pb! Great training run for FLM and found the laps as a great way to really judge my pace and how I was doing, particularly when you knew when the inclines were coming. Delighted with the time and has given me a real confidence boost building up to the big one.

Thanks to all the organisers

In short: Excellent choice as a training run for FLM, and good pb potential.
In full: Personally found the start a little chaotic as no one initially seemed to know where it was, a result of which we were asked to move back about 20 metres which made things a little congested. Aside from that, a fast course with enough undulation to keep things interesting, and came back with a good pb which I felt could have been bettered were it not for the neverending head wind round the lake (or was that just me!). For a well sponsored race a few more goodies at the end would have been nice, however, at least someone else profited by taking my gel carrier which I'd just taken off and went 'missing' whilst I was removing my chip!
