In short: Well done Bristol!
In full: Very impressed this year, obviously a lot or work and thought has gone into this race and comments from previous years taken into account.

The start was on time and well organised and I pretty much ran near the same people for most of the race so people seemed to be positioned well. There were about a gazillion marshalls and the whole event just seemed to run really well. Medal good and heavy, excellent.

Only 2 gripes is it was a little hot and my feet got covered in blisters, if this could be improved for next year I would appreciate it ;)

In short: Unique event.
In full: Loved the novelty of racing the train. (Or watching it steam past ...) Fantastic organisation all round. The car parking, showers, marshalling, water stations (so many!),the chaps at the end removing the timechips, all good.

Interesting race, specially the 4 miles from the half way point, certainly beats a city half marathon!

In short: Great race.
In full: Really enjoyed this, more that I was expecting to, to be honest. Very steep hill at the start then a quick run along the ridge and an even quicker descent. There isn't a more beautiful setting in my opinion. I managed to sprain my ankle, not during the race but getting the cake afterwards... not sure what that says but there you go ... :)

In short: Well, that was muddy!
In full: First there was mud ... and then there was more. This was a most entertaining race, some country lanes, run along a river, through some woods and across some fields but always, mud mud mud. Good job there were showers at the end. The marshalling was very well organised so thanks to all. I managed to add 20 minutes to my normal run time for 9 miles, not a speedy race but lots of fun!

In short: Great race, lovely down hill first half, tougher second half.
In full: This is great race, and I got a PB, hurrah. Seemed there were more runners this year. Weather wasn't too bad. Many thanks to the organisers and marshalls.

In short: Pesky weather! Great race.
In full: Great fast course, lots of friendly runners. PB (but only by seconds) on last years race. Many thanks to the marshalls standing out in the rain and wind managing to stay cheerful.

In short: Would have been better with more loos at the start!!!
In full: Had to use the park along with what seemed like the other 7000 runners, nice.

That aside, a good day, thought the organisation was good apart from the exit from the castle at the end. Preferred the castle finish to the Millennium Stadium finish last year. Lovely medal, good day, well done Cardiff.
