In short: Not bad - could be better
In full: Some nice scenery and a nice flat course - 2 laps not as bad as expected and the stadium finish is fantastic. Plenty of water & sports drinks available.

I think it probably makes a better half than full, spectators started wandering off second lap, some across the course. Its a bit annoying having to run round slow halfers towards the end, must be really bad for the v fast boys!

Some of the other complaints didn't bother me, congestion wasn't really a big deal & grasscrete & cobbles weren't too bad either.

In short: Not bad
In full: 10 milers are hard to find so this is good and if you're after a time its definitely one to turn up for.

Could have done with more water & toilets though

In short: I won beer!
In full: Do I need to say more?

OK then - nice little race, always going up or down at various degrees. Found the stone tracks a bit hard and the dust kicked up made breathing a bit difficult for me, especially given the heat.

Views from the top would be nice if you could stop for a peek and the organisation was excellent

In short: Excellent again
In full: Could have done with more mud this year but it helped the times - I was 7 mins faster! Those who thought that was muddy don't know they're born! Special thanks to the man by the High Moor who told me the footy score.

In short: Nice & quick
In full: Organisers did very well considering the problems with motorway closed. Towels are a much better memento than the usual t-shirt/medal

In short: Only did the half!
In full: Fantastic race, great location & a real challenge. Not too many flat bits so don't do it if you don't like hills, lots of 'em!

One thing, would be nice to get a medal for the half.

In short: Mud, mud, glorious mud
In full: Very muddy (one lady lost a shoe which she never recovered) and pretty hilly but great fun. Had very strangely sore sides the next day.

And you got free socks!

In short: Owwwwwwwwwwww
In full: Fantastic. I even feel guilty about only givin 60 for PB potential as I got mine here. Everything is right out of the top drawer, except maybe that mountain at 21 miles but the view at the top even made that worthwhile (almost).

Great support from all runners and great crowd support for a small race too. I'll be back, assuming I've forgotten about the pain.

In short: Getting better
In full: Some people are never happy! Challenging but enjoyable course & great atmosphere, plenty of spectators throughout. Tech T-Shirt is very nice for those who paid the extra.

In short: Nice run & all for a good cause
In full: Seems to be a bit of contention about the course length but if it is short it makes up for the wind!
