In short: Everyone should do this at least once
In full: Good atmosphere, very busy but what do you expect with 33,000 people? fantastic event for beginners and a quick enough course for more experienced runners to aim for a PB. Managed to do 3 monutes quicker than last time so very pleased! I will be back!

In short: Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In full: How can you top this experience? OK it was hot and the time was a bit disappointing but OMG the crowds! They were astonishing and cheered every runner as if they were their own personal friends. Every time I hit a low spot (and there were a few), the crowds literally pick you up and drag you forwards. Brilliantly organised, superb course and the BEST DAY EVER!

In short: Mega-friendly, superbly organised and scenic. Even the weather was great
In full: My first time in this event but definitely not the last. The most friendly marshals you will find anywhere, brilliantly organised and a beautiful course. The perfect post-Christmas tonic.

In short: Everything it's built up to be - and more!
In full: Having done Liverpool this was in a completely different league. Considering the numbers I thought the organisation was excellent, the crowds were superb and the whole experience memorable. The course was tough and it was difficult to get into a stride with so many people but just axccept that and it's all fun. My only critisism was the inept traffic management - 2 hours to get out of South Shields and not a policeman to be seen!
