In short: First Marathon - had a great time, apart from cramping up at 24 miles!
In full: Excellent organisation throughout; water and gel stations positioned in exactly the right places with marshals which were very supportive.

First half was quite hilly in places but not difficult, probably the most demotivating section was the run down and up and down the rowing lake at the water centre, particularly against the breeze!

Excellent support from my family, although in places the rest of the crowd seemed quite subdued.

Parking was a breeze! Straight in and straight out - all the 'half' runners had gone by the time I finished.±

In short: Good Atmosphere, good crowds, good run, excellent day.
In full: Excellent day out for all the family with a mixture of runs aimed at different ages and abilities. Crowds lined the route and cheered most if not all the way round.
Still have a problem with the cobbles around the Cathedral at the end but then it wouldn't be the Lincoln 10k without them!
Well organised Start and Finish. Made up for last year.

In short: Excellent day out again, bit of organisational tweaking required regarding parked cars and one particular old dear who nearly stopped the children's race by driving across the road straight in front of them! Ably dealt with by the marshalls.
In full: Better organisation needed at the point of collecting post race drinks, medals and T-shirts, only one desk for each when there is plenty of space to have at least a desk per T-shirt size....doh! Maybe next year. The race itself was excellent, and well supported by the people of Lincoln; good atmosphere amongst runners, even when told there is a delay; a good day out for the whole family.

In short: Third time around - best time yet, although I don't know how because those slight inclines are a killer around 9, 10 and 11 miles.

In short: Unfortunately I ran this off the back of an injury so was disappointed in myself. I've never run it before but would do it again if fitter and aim for a better time as the course is quite flat.
In full: There are only relatively small issues regarding the tightness, and therefore bunching at some of the corners, abd cobbles leading up to the finish....did my knees and hamstring no good....but then that's probably my own fault for doing it!
