In short: fabulously well organised but maybe lacking atmosphere?
In full: the start in green park was brilliant - lots of portaloos, lucozade and water freely available, well organised baggage drop. The start was well done too - the zones were clearly marked and we were set off in waves which meant there was virtually no overcrowding the whole way round. Kilometres were clearly marked as were water stops and loos. Everything was perfect really but very little atmosphere - everyone was running their own race and there was very little support. Even finishing up the mall seemed rather mundane? But for all that, I am delighted with my time and would do it again next year - just a little bit faster!

In short: fast, flat 2 loop race with no loos!
In full: lovely day - friendly marshals and scenic route. lucozade and water stations well organised but ran short for anyne running over 10 min miles...
the few loos that there were at the start were not signposted, and queues were ridiculous... then no more on the course - this needs to be addressed.
personally am not fussed about mug or medal or lack of goody bag and would like to come back and do this one again

In short: fast seafront run
In full: hasn't quite twigged that this would involve such a long slog up and down the seafront - even such nice scenery got boring after a while... hills not too bad... v little support

In short: flat course, good mix of runners, organisationally challenged!
In full: A good, funrace - some serious runners at the end getting very irate with the volunteers... admittedly the baggage storage and the mile marking was farcical (as was taking the finish line down before everyone finished?!) but it was a charity event and achieved what it set out to - raise money.....

In short: challenging route but well marshalled with friendly support and some beautiful viewss
In full: 2h12 put me firmly at the back of the field but fellow runners were very friendly so that was fine. It's not the steepness of the hill that I struggled with - just the sheer length - definitely mind over matter here, and my mind won unfortunately! great race, great day!
