In short: Ouch but good race!
In full: Good well organised race. Bit lonely for us extreme slowcoaches, but the marshals and St John volunteers were very cheery and I certainly thought I'd achieved something by the time I finished.

In short: Brilliant
In full: I've done a number of CH races and they've always been really well organised / all I could wish for. I really hope this event becomes a permanent fixture. Thanks to all those who helped organise and run on the day including the St John volunteers and police.

In short: What a shame
In full: Like everyone else, I'm really disappointed with what happened, as I had thought this race was getting better...

...unfortunately this is the 3rd time I've done a big race in the past 6 months and each one (GSR, Reading Half, Bath Half) has got the basics wrong (GSR traffic, Reading goody bags & lucozade, Bath - t-shirts/ exiting the village).

It's not good enough when we're paying top prices for professionally organised races - how many other public events would get away with it? It really does show what a good job clubs do in organising races (fitting round the rest of their lives).

Bath your website should have contact details for anyone who missed out on a t-shirt to claim one or you should be working through the results of all the slower finishers to offer a partial refund in respect of the missing t-shirt. We paid in full, we're entitled in full, fast or slow. Do this and I'll give you another chance...

Also next year can we not have a park and ride from the University too? A shorter bus could be used on the North Road / Bathwick Hill route. A drop near KES would work now the road is cleared for access.

I would like to thank all the spectators, first aiders and marshals who remained so cheerful despite everything.

In short: Well organised, good value for money but shame about the route
In full: Lots of marshalls, good race facilities and good balanced field. Shame it's not on a better route, as there's a bit too much traffic on the Nursteed Road and the final loop was a bit demoralising. Devizes has so many good places to run so it seems a shame this race misses them.
Could we get Wadworth's to sponsor - a horse brass would make a fab souvenir!
