In short: Alway's worth turning up for particuarly well marshalled
In full: Cones and anoying housing estates apart, I like this race for its challenging nature which pushes you at the end of the year and reminds you of the training which still need to be done.

HQ would benefit from a rethink incorporating baggage hold area and hot water.

Refreshments were great and cake especially welcome thank you..

In short: Worth running just for the cake at the end
In full: I had never run this before but heard various reports about it being hilly. So I was prepared for the worst, it wasn't that bad, apparently the course has been changed this year, the consesus being that it was better than before. Apart from the long cold walk to the start and the unfortunate(wrenching) stink at the start I enjoyed the race a great deal. My complements to the ladies on the refreshments particuarly the cakes which were first class.

In short: A hard race but its a build up to London, if you had a good race you will be of at London.
In full: YOu cant fault the first part of the carpark organisation, park and grab a coach, race and grab the coach back. For me the arrangements fll apart in the middle.

Not enough loos, changing could do with improving with floor covering, chairs etc.

Then there was the very muddy start & Finsh..with such a wet few day's you might have re routed the beginning to hard surface; as it was impossible to do a decent run on such slipper ground in road shoes.

AS this race was sponsoring Muscular dystrophy there was very little eveidence of the organisation its self except for that small tent in the middle.

The marshalling was excellent as usual with enthusiasm in abundance. i like the race but the percieved value could be improved with a few detail changes.

In short: Hated the nonsensicle ambling around houseing estates to make up the mileage, There must be a better way of achieving the objective.
