In short: Well organised event.
In full: This was my 6th Luton marathon and, as always, it was very well organised with the usual excellent marshalls.

It is always one of my favourite races as you get that end of term feeling as everyone is out to do one last marathon before the end of the year. Keep up the good work.

In short: Well organised marathon.
In full: Good city marathon. Clear mile markers and well stocked drinked stations. Plenty of encouragement from the army of marshalls. Support was good. I never understand why people do races and then moan about the lack of support. The only marathon in England where you can expect support all the way round is London. Always think you apprieciate the support more because those that are there are very vocal. If you need people cheering for 26 miles to enjoy it better stick to London!

In short: Tough but excellent marathon.
In full: A great race. Organisation was spot. It is tough one though! The hills are not huge but they just keep coming!! Roll on next year.

In short: Excellent race
In full: First time running this marathon. Course was good even the slog round the lake on the second lap was enjoyable in it's own way! Water stations well stocked and frequent. Marshalls were great. Well done to all involved.

In short: Much improved on 2008.
In full: Much improved on the 2008 course. Seemed less hilly than in previous years. Car parking was no problem. Free car park 5 mins walk away with loads of space. Well marshalled with plenty of well stocked drinks stations. Only minus point was the lack of mile markers.

In short: Very well organised race.
In full: Had a little trouble finding the start - a big thank you to the council worker who let me follow him in. Once there I couldn't fault it. Plenty of loos at the start, easy free parking, the marshalls along the course were great, the route though the parks/city/countryside was very good and the drink stations well stocked. Looking forward to doing it next year.

In short: MUD!
In full: First time at this marathon and was a little worried about all the negative postings last year. Well they must have listened as it was spot on. The route was tough with all the mud resulting in my worst time for 9 years but for once that didn't matter. A great day. Well done to all involved.
