In short: Nice race, pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning. In full: Nice race, reasonably well organised the course could have done with a few more marshals but no major problems. The first half of the course is flat but the second gets hilly and more challenging. All in all it is pretty good, not spectacular but well worth the money. Date of review: August 25, 2009
In short: Great Race In full: There is are so many good things to say about this race I don't know where to start. If you fancy something different do it and you will find out for yourself. Date of review: July 26, 2009
In short: Enjoyable Thursday Afternoon Jaunt In full: The course is nice and takes you round the Cathedral and some nice bits of Winchester. It isn’t a fast course though too many twists and turns and you need to be careful you don’t run in to bollards or any of the other hazards! But this race is good fun and good value. I will be going it again. Date of review: July 17, 2009
In short: Brilliant organisation and great atmosphere. In full: This is now one of my favourite races, great organisation ran like clockwork. The course is good and has PB potential. Spot on! Date of review: April 29, 2009
In short: Not the best organised race but still enjoyable. In full: Could have done with more toilets at the beginning. There was no bag storage or parking. The water station was a joke and the final section of the race was on a pebble/ stone track. Oh and the km markers were off. That being said it was only £8 to enter and therefore quite good value for money. Overall enjoyable but not sure I will do it again.
In short: Tough but fun In full: Tough hilly off road race, great fun and well organised. The Marshals were friendly and encouraging and the facilities at the end were great. Some sort of memento at the end would have been nice but regardless of this I would highly recommend this race.
